Nicholas became a Trustee for us in 2007, and is currently Chair of the Board. He boasts having visited the school as long ago as the 1970s, which gives some idea of his age. His work as an educational psychologist gave him experience of children with various kinds of learning difficulties, including those relating to concentration, literacy, aggression and civility. Here’s another chance to contribute to the improvement of boys’ lives.
He lives in Knaresborough with his wife, Hilary, and is a Trustee here, appointed by Quakers in Yorkshire. He likes travel, music and walking in Yorkshire. He can sing but you might not always realise that from his demeanour.
He enjoys the challenges Trusteeship and being Chair bring him and is happiest when we are all getting our acts together and moving forward towards a better future for the school. He is congenitally lazy but hates it when other people waste his time!
