THE BRECKENBROUGH HELPLINE AND FORUM

If you are looking for help or want to find support from people who have shared similar experiences to yourself on a variety of issues around emotional and behavioural problems including High Functioning Autism, Asperger Syndrome, ADD and ADHD, Dyspraxia, Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder then we might be able to help.

We do not have all the answers but we will look at any problems and try and find constructive path forward.

This site aims to share a philosophy based on conflict resolution, to provide information and offer advice, support and contacts.

The Breckenbrough philosophy believes that:

  • Individuality should be encouraged and allowed to flourish.
  • To reduce the negative impact and stigma of labels and diagnosed syndromes and disorders.
  • To allow people to understand themselves better in order to build a positive self image.
  • To build on the good and erode the negative.
  • To focus on the positive, to look for and find constructive strategies and solutions.
  • To support young people to become independent.
