The small numbers of students sitting each exam make statistical analysis difficult, particularly with students who have so many barriers to learning and achievement. However, we do hope they give you a flavour of what can be achieved here at Breckenbrough.
Key Stage 2 results 2026:
Due to heightened levels of anxiety and arriving at the school with gaps in their learning, Key Stage 2 students do not take their SATS in Year 6. Students who arrive in the school from Year 7 onwards sometimes have Key Stage 2 data from their previous school, but for similar reasons listed above, many arrive without data and have not taken their SATS.
GCSE results 2026:
Overall 20 candidates sat different Level 2 qualifications in the 2026 series, totally 99 entries. All candidates manged to secure their chosen progression route into (or to continue with) Post 16 learning either at Breckenbrough, or as a link student with partner Post 16 providers, or start new learning at different Post 16 institutions.
Post 16 outcomes and destinations 2026:
Of the four students moving on from provision at Breckenbrough, achieved destinations that aligned with career aspirations. Those progressing on to Higher Education attained outcomes that secured first choice University places.
Other students in post 16 also sat external exams with strong outcomes being achieved so that they can continue with their current studies.
Post 16 provision continues to grow from strength to strength, not only in its breadth and provision of academic courses but also with a core emphasis placed upon building independent living skills (ILS) in the students. Our Careers Lead, Sally Johnson works hard to source the most appropriate courses at the best universities for our students. It is due to the hard work of the staff as well as our aspirations, our students and their families now believe that anything is possible.
